Will Motorola’s Xoom Android Tablet Kill the iPad?
Tablets are one of the hottest items coming out of CES this year and Motorola didn’t miss the opportunity to debut their Android based Xoom tablet. The Xoom is the first Android tablet running an operating system created specifically for tablets and sanctioned by Google. But, can this device successfully compete with the iPad? Another difference worth noting is the docking position; the Xoom docks in landscape mode. Its 1280 x 800 display is 16:10 so almost the entire screen is used when watching movies. Like the iPad, the battery life is approximately 10 hours for video. Full specs shown below after the break.
