Microsoft Office for iPad – Coming Soon?

Back when the original Apple iPad first surfaced, Microsoft decided not to produce an Office version for use on the iPad. Now the company has changed its tune, and according to sources at The Daily, Microsoft is hard at work on an iPad version of its Office business offerings.

Get Productive with Next! – iPad App Review

The tagline for Next! states that ‘It’s a good day to be productive’ and I think that’s a good mantra for us all.

This app intends to be a ‘one-stop-shop’, allowing you to manage projects, take notes and store documents in a central location. The three core functions of the app are:

Actions – Encourages you to break down the things you need to do. You can assign specific or generic dates to each item, allowing you to prioritize. You can leave items in your ‘inbox’ that you haven’t decided how to approach, which can be a nice feature when you know you have a task that needs to be done but you haven’t fully contemplated it yet. As well, you can assign tasks a due date of ‘someday’ for those things that are more abstract or perhaps less important and therefore don’t need a true targeted due date.

Totes m ‘Notes – A Great Note-Taking Tool for iPad – App Review

Hello iPad enthusiasts, this is Colin signing on to the PadGadget page!

Although the iPad has faced its share of criticisms in the word processing department, Totes m’Notes is not your standard, yellow paper notes app. Taking detailed notes is important no matter what your profession, and with the combination of type and draw Totes m’ Notes makes that possible. Using the app is completely intuitive like most good iPad apps, and it takes very little time to get used to the layout of all the controls.

On the main screen the “shelf” can house a series of two sided note folders, one for each subject or project. These folders are customizable enough to stay easily organized without having to open each one. After creating a new folder and choosing the skin, stickers (more please!), and labeling, it is time to customize your notes.
