Pizza Hut Shows Off Giant iPad Table to Let Customers Build Their Own Pie

Pizza Hut iPhone Touch Screen TablePizza Hut is heading toward the future. Last week, the company launched a concept commercial showing what it would be like to sit down at a table in the restaurant, build your own pizza, order it, and pay for it using a giant touch screen and your iPhone. We may not have flying cars and jetpacks, but I’d be happy with a table-sized iPad.

This Week’s App Store Editor’s Choice: Smash Hit

Smash Hit 3I’ve always wanted to throw rocks at windows. I’ve never done it. I swear. But, every time I see an abandoned building, I just want to break all of the windows out. The satisfying sound of glass, crashing to bits would be so cool. Maybe the reason I’m so enamored by the idea of breaking windows is because I’ve never done it. Maybe I just have a destructive streak in me. Maybe that’s why I love Smash Hit so very much.

Star Wars KOTOR 3Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) is one of those games that Star Wars fans have thoroughly embraced as part of the universe. Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock you probably know all about Vine and its growing popularity. Given its widespread usage among teens, it’s not surprising that Twitter has updated the user agreement to prevent sexually explicit material and pornography. Escaping the Shredder in High Flying Bird Thriller

Aero Birdies

At first I couldn’t imagine worse timing for a new physics based bird game, given that it comes in the shadow of the flappy revolution, but once I gave Aero Birdies a try I knew there was something genius in releasing it now. In many ways this game is the antithesis of the flappy bird games because it is polished, has friendly physics, and I can score more than 11 points.

PadGadget’s Flashback Friday – Game of Watchcraft: Spawn of Squishy

Game of WatchcraftWhen I was a kid, Game & Watch games were incredibly popular. At the time, the only way you could play Donkey Kong was at an arcade, which I had to get permission to go to, or on a handheld electronic device that Nintendo put out. Of course, the Game & Watch games were a pale comparison to the full arcade, but it satisfied the hunger in me.

Thanks to the progression of technology, today, you can play just about any type of game, from arcade to PC to home console, right on your iPad or iPhone. Sometimes, however, I just want to take it back to a simpler time, when handheld games were little more than a painted on screen and a blinking digital ape.
