In February, Square launched a small business package called, “Business in a Box,” which included a sleek, heavy-duty iPad stand made by Heckler Design, the iconic Square Reader (also known as a dongle), a locking cash drawer, and a receipt printer. Today, the company has announced a new addition to the cash register design with an iPad stand that doubles as a credit card reader.

Many times, users leave negative comments in the App Store for issues that can be explained or resolved if the person would contact the app’s developer directly instead. Some developers have even added wording to their app’s summary in regards to it. There should be a way for developers to respond to comments, if only to let them know they heard the complaint.

According to Bloomberg, New York’s attorney general wrote a letter to Apple Inc., Google Inc., Microsoft Corp., and Samsung Electronics, asking what the companies are doing to combat theft.

According to the New York Times, ABC plans to update its existing iOS App to support live stream TV. As we reported earlier this year, this plan has been in the works for some time, and is about to come to fruition.
Starting this Tuesday, according to Gigaom, ABC viewers in the NYC and Philadelphia metro areas will be able to access this new feature by way of a “live” button within their iOS app. ABC is the first network to bring this capability to the iPad.
