Google is the go-to search engine for most people. The website boasts literally “trillions” of searches for 2014. Because of the wealth of data Google can glean from our web searches, the company releases a year-end report to let us know what was popular. It’s sort of like Time Magazine’s Year in Review, only for trending topics from Google searches.
Every year, Apple makes the list with a couple of products. This year, the company headed up the list of top consumer electronic searches with the iPhone 6 at number one. The Apple Watch premiered on the Google search list at number eight. The iPad Air squeaked into the top 10 list in last place.
