In iOS 8, iCloud Drive will Make Accessing Your Documents Easier Than Ever

At this year’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC), Apple showed off a lot of new features coming to iOS and OS X, including deeper integration of the mobile and desktop operating systems. In addition to Handoff, phone calls from your Mac, and personal hot-spot identification, iOS and OS X will be more in tuned to your document activities with iCloud Drive.

iCloud Drive is an online document storage system that allows you to store all of your various documents, including spreadsheets, PDFs, images, and any other kind of document. You can then access those documents from your iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Mac, or even PC.

Right now, in Safari, you can store your passwords and credit card information in a secure keychain so that, whenever you fill in a form that requires your card number, it will automatically enter the important information for you, like the name, address, card number, and expiration date. Once the information is stored, you can use it on iOS or OS X. It’s very convenient.

Apple Pays $2 Million to Help with San Francisco Super Bowl 50 Plans

For the first time in 15 years Apple is going to be a part of the Super Bowl to the tune of $2 million in donated funds. This money joins support from other Bay area companies such as Google, Yahoo, and Intel, bringing the total of private funding to $40 million. Perhaps this means they will also be making a commercial to join the fray of Super Bowl spots, which is something they haven’t done since 1999.

Square Enix Announces ‘Hitman: Sniper’ to Launch Later this Year

Rumor: Apple iWatch to Feature Curved OLED Display and Ship this October

This is the one area where the rumors might actually produce facts. All signs point to a release of the so-called “iWatch” later this year.
