August 16, 2013 has been announced as the new release date of JOBS, the Steve Jobs biopic by Open Roads Films. The original release date was set for April 19th but was postponed to allow more time for marketing.

Keeping up with Wimbledon, pro Tennis’ most storied tournament, will be easier this year thanks to IBM and the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC), who plan to release an iPad app that is sure to enhance the tennis viewing experience for fans throughout the world.
The app, whose release is still pending app store approval, will be free to download. It promises to bring the user closer to the on-court action than ever before. The app’s interactive UI allows the user to track matches on specific courts, so he can a specific player through the tourney.

Apple announced several new map features at this year’s WWDC but if you were hoping for evidence of a turnaround from last year’s mapping fiasco then you are not going to feel 100% satisfied. The new OS X app looks like an extension of the iOS app and while the ability to share routes directly to your iPhone is something that is designed with elegance and promises efficiency, it is a feature that doesn’t justify a switch back from using the superior Google Maps.
