A few months ago, a new email client hit the App Store that just about turned the iOS community upside-down. Mailbox was being touted as a “revolutionary email app” that changes the way you use email. The app looked great, but within a week, I was back to my native iPad Mail app.
I’m just not the kind of person who needs help organizing thousands of emails. I’m pretty good at deleting and archiving my messages. Mailbox is a great app, but not a game changer for me.
Today, a new email client has hit the App Store that may just be what I’m looking for. Evomail is an email client for the iPad that is specifically designed for Gmail users. It offers some of the great features that Gmail’s Web-based service offers, but are not available with Apple’s native Mail app.
