In my inbox was a letter from ComiXology with an “Important Security Notice.” It turns out that the company found that an “unauthorized individual” accessed the subscriber database that included username, email addresses, and cryptographically protected passwords. That is exactly what the Acoustic Stream promises to do.

Reasons varied, Samsung’s prices were too high, Apple hated Samsung for their patent war antics, Intel offered a better deal, but what has remained constant all of these years is that Apple has never stopped working with Samsung to design and manufacture the mobile device chips that go in our iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch devices.
