Ever since Re/code announced that Apple plans to unveil a wearable device that features both HealthKit and HomeKit frameworks, the tech world has been buzzing about what to expect. Various news organizations have made their own claims to the predicted launch of the as-yet-unofficial device. Everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon and be the first to be right.
Today, analyst Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray laid out his own predictions, which are about as safe as possible. He mostly predicts information that we’ve already heard talked about on tech sites over the past few months regarding a larger iPhone in two sizes, limited runs with Sapphire Glass, and near field communication.
One interesting, albeit non-committal, prediction that Munster told investors seems completely reasonable, and is even followed by supporting opinion that makes a lot of sense.
