Apple Drops Prices on Refurbished iPad 4th Generation and iPad Mini Models

Senate Subcommittee Pushes Apple to Lobby Harder for Corporate Tax Code Overhaul

Tim Cook Senate HearingOn Tuesday, Apple Executives were asked to appear before the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations to justify its corporate tax practices. The Senate accused Apple of using “tax gimmicks” to avoid paying as much as $6 billion in corporate taxes. The company’s CEO Tim Cook responded by saying that America’s tax code needs to be overhauled.

Today, Reuters is reporting that Apple will spend twice as much money on lobby groups this year than it did in 2012 in order to influence corporate tax reform.

Email Client Mailbox Now Available on iPad

MailboxThe recently launched email client Mailbox has received much acclaim since it’s launch in February. At the time, it was an invite-only service and was not available for the iPad. After a soft launch, when the company filtered in more than 1 million new users with no server issues, Mailbox was made open to the public and skyrocketed in popularity. Today Orchestra has announced that Mailbox has been optimized for the iPad.
