Shortly after I updated my iPhone and iPad to iOS 8, I discovered that the “My Photo Stream” album wasn’t there anymore. Without research, one would assume that Apple had lost your photos. However, that is not the case. Apple has, instead, relocated your iCloud photos to a different place. Instead of having a separate Photo Stream album, pictures will automatically be added to the “Recently Added” section of your camera roll.
The Photos app in iOS 8 has combined all of your images into “Recently Added” instead of a separate Camera Roll and Photo Stream. Images are organized by date and listed by Moments, Collections, and Years.
