Apple Certifying Components for iPad 3

According to a new report by DigiTimes, Apple has already started certifying key components for a future iPad 3. Even though a third generation iPad would be available in 2012, Apple seems to be certifying electronics companies such as Opto-Electronics and Chimei Innolux (a Taiwanese company).

The report also suggests that the iPad 3 would still keep the same screen (9.7 inches diagonal) size.
