Toys R’ Us Confirms iPad 2 On Sale Starting Tomorrow

Two weeks ago, we reported about the iPad 2 coming to a Toys R’ Us near you. The company has been training its employees to sell Apple’s new tablet, after details were leaked on a photograph that showed iPad 2 specific data and details to employees during a recent training session.

Toys R’ Us has launched a shopping page informing buyers about specific stores and locations that will carry the iPad 2.

Fox, Discovery Agree to Add Channels Back to Time Warner’s iPad App

The story between Time Warner Cable (TWC) and content owners has been well documented. Two weeks ago, Time Warner had to pull out live channels from Fox, Discovery and Viacom because the content owners found the TWC iPad application as an unacceptable way to deliver their TV content.

Everything resulted in cease-and-desist letters sent to TWC demanding the removal of specific channels. After all that trouble, the cable company has announced that Fox and Discovery have rejoined the iPad TV lineup once again.

iCade iPad Arcade Cabinet Receives FCC Approval

Still remember the iCade? Well, it’s almost here. What started as an April Fools joke in 2010 by ThinkGeek, gained a lot of popularity by the gaming community, and now the gaming cabinet has moved forward as a formal product.

A New Apple Video Streaming Service – Will It Be Cloud Based TV?

Several media outlets are reporting that Apple is likely working on a “cloud-based TV service” that would be compatible with its strong line of products – iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Macs.

The Business Insider (SAI) has reported that analyst Peter Misek claims Apple will soon launch a “new far reaching cloud-based service” focused on video. Ticonderoga Securities’ analyst, Brian White, says that the company now seems to be “moving down this pace at a faster pace than the market expected.”
