iPad Expected to Represent the Lion’s Share of Tablet Shipments for at Least 4 Additional Years

According to a new report from IDC, a total of 122.3 million tablets will be shipped during 2012, and 53.8 percent of those will be from Apple. If IDC’s predictions are correct, Apple will ship a slightly smaller number of iPads during 2012 than it did during 2011, when the company was responsible for 56.3 percent of shipments.

Grid Lens is a neat photo app that allows you to capture multiple photos on one screen. You can use the app to take a succession of photos of a subject or a scene one right after another to create image collages.

With the app’s default settings, you can open it up, choose a specific grid, point it at something (or yourself) and the app will take one photo after another, filling in each section of the grid. Netflix Inks Exclusive Content Deal with Disney

Things may be looking up for video-on-demand company Netflix, who just signed a huge deal with The Walt Disney Company. According to the terms of the deal, Netflix will be the exclusive U.S. subscription service for first-run live action and animated films that are produced by Disney.

There’s just one caveat – the deal won’t go into effect until 2016. But in four years, Netflix will have access to Disney movies that have been in the theater before they’re available to other outlets, like Blockbuster and Redbox.
