fedThey Need To Be Fed 2 is the follow up to the original They Need To Be Fed game, which featured crisp, high contrast graphics and simple but fun platform puzzle gameplay. They Need to Be Fed 2 is more of the same, with a few fantastic additions.

As a platformer, They Need To Be Fed 2 is fairly unique. It uses 360 degree gravity, which means that you will navigate through the game from left to right and from top to bottom, making your way through the level grabbing up diamonds.

penumbearPenumbear is a unique-looking platformer. It’s dark and dreary with a haunting soundtrack, but focuses on the usage of light to get through various obstacles, which is a great concept. The game stars Penumbear himself, who is a little bear that wakes up in a dark castle basement.

Poor Penumbear has just a purple firefly to keep him company, but luckily, it’s a magical firefly that is able to turn on lights, which is handy because Penumbear has the ability to walk across the lines where shadow and light meet.

mrcrabI can never resist an iOS game that offers up bright, cheery graphics and adorably endearing characters, so from the moment I opened up Mr. Crab I was hooked. The visuals are incredibly impressive, which is no surprise because this game comes from Illusion Labs, the developers behind other fantastic titles like Touchgrind and Touchgrind BMX.

In Mr. Crab, which is a fast-paced platform-style arcade game, you will play as the titular character, making your way to the top of a continually rotating sand castle while snapping up pearls and rescuing baby crabs.

In Gravity Duck you will take on the role of a duck who can manipulate the laws of gravity, walking on ceiling and floor alike with ease. Since Gravity Duck comes from Ravenous Games, the developers behind other hits like League of Evil and Infestor, I knew it would be a hit before I even opened the app.

If you weren’t aware, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have made a reappearance of late, as there is a new movie coming out and there’s a new show.

There’s also a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles app available, called Rooftop Run, from Nickelodeon. As you might have imagined, Rooftop Run is an endless running game.

It is a story heavy game that focuses on Azriel Odin, an ex-assassin who has arrived on the dark and dreary planet Barracus and Delta-Six, a man who wakes up in the hospital with no memory. Odin and Delta-Six both face problems of morality, making tough choices that ultimately bring them together to seek redemption.

The gameplay in Fish Out Of Water can be described as skipping stones. Have you ever stood on a lake and tossed a smooth stone across the water to see how many jumps you can score? That’s the principle in FOOW, but instead of stones, you’re using fish.
