Disclosure Policy

The United States Federal Trade Commission requires bloggers to disclose any relationship they have with vendors they write about. We think it’s smart for you, our readers, to know how we operate and we at PadGadget want to make sure you know our simple five point policy.

1.) We are never paid to cover any product nor do we accept money to write reviews.

2.) PadGadget accepts advertising and sponsorships on our site to cover operations. In some cases, our posts will have links to products or services. We may get paid a commission if you purchase the product or service from one of our affiliate partners such as Amazon or MacMall.

3.) We select what we want to cover and the compensation we receive from advertising or sponsorships will never influence the content, reviews, topics or posts we make on PadGadget.

4.) Promotions and giveaways that we hold on PadGadget might involve vendor promo codes or accessories.  The fact that a vendor has decided to participate in a giveaway or promotion will not influence what we review or how we review an item on PadGadget.

5.) The views and opinions expressed here are purely ours. If we claim or appear to be experts on a certain topic or product or service area, we will only endorse products or services that we believe, based on our expertise, are worthy of such endorsement. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.
