In August, Parallels, the productivity app that “appifies” your Mac and PC programs was released for the iPad. After five months, the company has reorganized the subscription model, added full support for additional operating systems, and redesigned the user interface for iOS 7 compatibility. To celebrate the update, an annual subscription to Parallels is on sale for $49.99 for a limited time.
New features include support for OS X Mavericks and Windows 7, 8, and 8.1. The app now offers a single port connection for better compatibility to certain corporate networks. You can now connect up to 10 PC or Mac computers with your Parallels Access, instead of a per-computer subscription.
