Apple Launches Back to School Promotion – Get a $50 or $100 Gift Card with iPad, iPhone or Mac Purchase
It’s that time of year when students and educators can save a bundle buying a new iPad, iPhone or Mac. If you’re a new or returning college student, a parent buying for a college student, or a faculty member of a school, you can currently take advantage of Apple’s new back to school promotion with the purchase of a new iPad, iPad Mini, iPhone or a new Mac.
When you buy an iPad, you can get a $50 App Store gift card and if you purchase a Mac, you’ll get a $100 App Store gift card to download the latest iOS or Mac apps, music, TV shows, movies or iBooks.
The iPad 3, iPad Mini and Retina Display iPad are all eligible for this promotion, so if you’ve been waiting to buy a new iPad now is a great time to get a deal. As for Macs, you can buy a MacBook Pro, a MacBook Air, or an iMac to land the $100 gift card.
This new promo begins today and continues through Friday, September 6, 2013.
If you’re considering posing as a student, be warned: Apple performs routine audits, and if you’re caught, you’ll have to pay the difference. On a brighter note, Apple is shipping the gift cards right away, so if you order a new item today, you may get that card by the end of this week.
This iPad and Mac promotion applies to Apple devices bought at the Apple Online Store for Education, one of Apple’s Retail Stores, or an Apple Authorized Campus Store. iPhone devices must be purchased from Apple in order to be eligible to receive the Apple gift card. The gift card can be used in the iOS and Mac App stores, the iTunes Store, or the iBookstore.
