HGTV Inspires DIY Decorators with New Folio iPad App

hgtvfolio_homescreenIf you are getting tired of your boring old couch and your beat up entertainment center but have no idea how to redecorate, then you should check out HGTV’s new iPad app. In only a few minutes, you’ll be so inspired. You’ll redecorate your whole house.

Today, HGTV announced the launch of their new HGVT Folio app, which lets fans bring the best of the show with them where ever they go. You can take the “Find Your Style” quiz, read a step-by-step guide to identifying personal design styles, and share your favorite photos of your favorite room décor.

“HGTV Folio offers fans a new way to immerse themselves in décor and design,” said Vikki Neil, senior vice president and general manager, digital, Scripps Networks Interactive. “The app helps users identify everything they love about a space and allows them to pinpoint their style, organize their favorite room photos and galleries and share their finds via Facebook and Twitter.”

The app features rooms that have been created by some of HGTV’s top designers and the stars of the network’s shows, including Anthony Carino, John Colaneri, Jonathon Scott, Drew Scott, David Bromstad, Vern Yip, and Sabrina Soto.

You can select and save specific design elements from any room. Tag your favorites with customized labels, like “Want This,” or “Love This.” There are even interactive “hot spots,” which offer product information about items in the photo.

You can pick up HGTV Folio for free in the App Store today.
