Logitech Launches New Line of Keyboard Folios for iPad, iPad mini

Accessory maker Logitech is on a roll right now. The company recently launched the Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for iPad mini, which boasts the “thinnest keyboard case” on the market. Today, Logitech has announced the upcoming release of a new line of Keyboard folios for the iPad and iPad mini that protect all over. Plus, it comes in multiple colors to compliment your spring attire.

The Logitech Keyboard Folio and Logitech Keyboard Folio mini offer full protection for your Apple tablet while giving you the mobile typing experience you’ve grown to love with the company’s award-wining keyboard design.

The folio connects to your iPad or iPad mini through Bluetooth and features traditional Apple keyboard shortcuts to make typing on a tablet more comfortable and convenient.

“Our goal with the new Logitech Keyboard Folio was to take the award-winning typing experience from the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover and add an extra layer of protection,” said Mike Culver, vice president of brand development for tablet accessories at Logitech. “To take the design a step farther, we combined Logitech’s expertise and experience in keyboards with high-quality materials to bring a sense of sophistication to the functional protection people want and need for their tablets.”

Logitech uses Easy Type keyboard design technology, which maximizes the keyboard space with full size keys to give you the same feeling you would get with a traditional computer keyboard. The Keyboard Folio mini offers similar keyboard design, but in a more compact space to fit the smaller tablet.

Both versions include hidden magnets to secure your Apple tablet in place while offering sleep/wake functionality for battery conservation. When you lay your iPad flat, it turns the keyboard off and covers the keypad entirely so that you don’t accidentally touch keys or activate typing.

The Keyboard Folio mini comes in light or dark blue. The Keyboard Folio for the full-sized iPad comes in pink, yellow, light blue, and black so you can really personalize your tablet.

You can preorder the cases today from the company’s website. The Logitech Keyboard Folio costs $99.99 and will be available in April. The Logitech Keyboard Folio Mini costs $89.99 and will be available in April as well.
