TheCover for iPad – Gear Review
Graphique de France – a lovely online boutique for stationary, greeting cards, and decor – has a new line of covers for your iPad called ‘TheCover‘. Available in a wide variety of prints, patterns, and colors – there is sure to be a style to suit your tastes.
TheCover is a portfolio style iPad case, meaning that it acts as protective sleeve when closed, and folds open into several different modes for viewing, standing, or working. TheCover is made of a heavy duty book-binding board covered in art paper laminated to the surface. While the style and texture look great, because the cover is composed of board and paper, we don’t see these holding up to everyday wear and tear as well as more durable materials.

Inside, there is an injection-molded custom polyurethane shell which holds the iPad and keeps it secured primarily by its corners. There are cutouts and holes located perfectly for all buttons, jacks, and cameras. This shell is thin, and overall, TheCover is quite light weight.
TheCover is designed to be used in a number of positions, and has support flaps to hold it in place. Ideal for typing, reading, and easy viewing, this cover is highly versatile. It also has a clever automatic open to wake/close to sleep feature, as well as a magnetic close.
