Do you buy or sell on eBay? Have you done so on your iPad. The hugely popular online auction house recently updated its app to allow users to sync their account to iPhones, iPads and personal computers. This week, eBay for iPad got even more of an update with a completely re-engineered selling flow.
Sellers can now “supersize” images uploaded through the app. There is a guidance feature that will help you categorize your item if you are unsure. The history of the selling price of an item is listed in the selling flow for easy viewing. The app now suggests shipping methods. Basically, the guesswork of selling on eBay has been all but removed.
The app also includes notifications within My eBay for “Feedback Received” and there is a better set up for selling event tickets and motor parts.
Buyers are getting a major update, too. Items that offer one-day handling and free shipping are now listed under “Fast N’ Free” for the US and UK. Your saved search results now include an orange star notification so you will know right away if there are any new items. More detailed information about item condition and returns are displayed. Users can also now enable filtering in Auction items to sort by “most bid.”
Version 2.2.1 also includes a handful of bug fixes to smooth out your eBay shopping process.
The eBay for iPad app is free to download and available in the App Store today. If you already have the app, you can download version 2.2.1 by going to the Updates section of your App Store app.
