The iPad game may not come with a servo-equipped motion seat, but you can turn your office into a cockpit with a little imagination and After Burner Climax on your iPad.
Using tilt controls and virtual touch controls, players dodge missiles, while targeting multiple on-screen enemy aircraft. Just like the original game, you’ll be able to choose from the F-14D Super Tomcat, the F-15E Strike Eagle, or F/A-18E Super Hornet. You’ll even be able to customize your plane with four different paint jobs.
There are 20 different stages with secret levels that can only be unlocked when players meet hidden criteria. You can play in Arcade mode to unlock weapons and power ups, Score Attack mode, where you compete against others for global leader board ranking, and Climax mode, which adds the element of slowed-down time so you can take down enemies en masse.
