Sometimes a really simple solutions comes along that solves a problem you may not have even been aware of. We can browse the web on our desktop computers, smartphones, tablets and even machines at work –with a different bookmark list in each location.
The beauty is in the simplicity: Listango gives you access to your bookmarks (organized just how you like them) on any computer, tablet, or phone.
There are other ways to sync your bookmarks, but Listango is a nice way to centrally handle a number of different tasks: organize your favorite sites into folders (which is very helpful once you have more than a few sites that you need to visit regularly), share them with friends (how many times have you been out with friends and said ‘you HAVE to visit this site…’) and read later (save articles or material to be read at a later time when you have a spare moment).
The ability to use Listango as a bookmarklet offers the value-added advantage of being able to save bookmarks to the app automatically from whatever browser you happen to use.
What I liked: Listango makes the best of a bad situation. While there may not be an easy way to add a bookmarklet to Safari on the iPad or iPhone, Listango gives you the instructions necessary to make it pretty straightforward to do.
What I didn’t like: A very brief tutorial when you first load the app would be very helpful and make it much easier to get started.
To buy or not to buy: If you surf the web from more than one browser in more than one location or from more than on device, you can’t afford not to grab this app.
