This morning Apple released iTunes 11 and with the new software came an updated version of the iOS Remote app. Apple’s Remote app allows users to control iTunes and the Apple TV with the iPhone and the iPad.
In version 3.0 of the app, users will find a completely new interface designed specifically for the iPad. While the older version of the app resembled iTunes 10, the update has brought a redesign that looks similar to the new iTunes 11.
A new Up Next feature in the app better facilitates searching through music libraries and allows users to quickly see what songs are playing next. A simple tap on the iPad or the iPhone will let users queue songs to play.
The new Remote app also has improved search results, an improved and expanded listing of media content, and a new icon.
You can download the Remote app from the App Store for free.
