Photoshop Touch Gets mini-Optimized, Adds Stylus Support

Adobe made a lot of iPad owners very happy at the beginning of this year with its paired down image effects software app for iOS. Adobe Photoshop Touch may not be a full-featured version of the popular photography program, but it was a hit with users from the start.

Today, iPad mini owners can rejoice because Adobe has updated Photoshop Touch for the smaller screen size.

In addition to downsizing the app for the iPad mini, Version 1.4 adds pressure-sensitive stylus support. If you are cutting and pasting images together, you may not care about this update. However, artists will know how important this new feature is for allowing for a more naturally pen and brush stroke when using a stylus. This update includes support for Pogo Connect, Jot Touch and JaJa.

Adobe Photoshop Touch also now includes easy sharing capabilities by offering support for Facebook and Twitter.

If you don’t already have Adobe Photoshop Touch, you can purchase it for $9.99 in the app store. If you are already a Photoshop Touch junky, you can download the update for free.
