Vers Inc. has announced the new 2Q hand-crafted wood Bluetooth stereo, offering natural acoustic sound quality in a portable package that fits in the palm of your hand.
The wood cabinet-style housing is designed to offer warmer, more natural sound and an eco-friendly look.
The Vers 2Q is constructed from sustainably sourced hardwoods and 100 percent recycled material, and consumes less energy than most Bluetooth speakers on the market.
The integrated Bluetooth v2.1 is compatible with nearly all smartphones, tablets and laptops. It also has a 3.5mm auxiliary input for devices that are not Bluetooth capable.
Weighing in at just 12oz, the stereo measures 3″x3″x6″ and features two 6.5W full-range speakers, a 30′ wireless range, and approximately 8 hours of rechargeable battery life. It charges via USB and comes with a charging cable and a cotton carrying bag.
Priced at $199.99, it is a pretty considerable investment for such a small stereo, but it’s a premium package and likely will appeal to those seeking top-quality portable sound in a greener package.
The stereo is not on the market yet, but per their website it will be available soon and you can sign up for their mailing list for updates.
