If you’ve been holding out for an LTE enabled iPad mini, you might just be able to get a great deal. Now that there are three carrier choices for the mini – Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T – the latter company is hoping to lure customers into a contract with a discount on Apple’s newest tablet.
This morning, AT&T announced that beginning on November 9, customers who buy an iPad mini or any other tablet at an AT&T company store or online will be able to receive a $100 discount with the purchase of a two-year data plan.
Customers are able to choose from several of AT&T’s data plans, and can even get the discount by adding a mobile device to their existing plan for $10 per month.
Here’s a list of all available data options:
- AT&T Mobile Share: $10 to share between 1 GB and 20GB
- AT&T DataConnect 250MB: $15 for 250MB
- AT&T DataConnect 3GB: $30 for 3GB
- AT&T DataConnect 5GB: $50 for 5GB
By signing a two-year contract with AT&T you can score a 16GB LTE fourth generation Retina iPad for $529 or a 16GB LTE mini for $359. For the mini, that’s just $30 more than the Wi-Fi version, which is a solid deal.
