iPad mini and Fourth Generation iPad Go On Sale, New Zealand Apple Stores First to get the Devices

It’s now just after 11:00 a.m. on Friday in New Zealand, and Apple Stores in the country have opened their doors, shelling out iPad minis and fourth generation iPads to waiting patrons.

New Zealand is one of the very first countries to begin receiving the device, so expect to see the first videos of iPad minis being unboxed hitting YouTube soon.

Other Apple Stores around the world will begin opening at 8 a.m. local time, on Friday morning.

There’s no word yet on how many iPad minis Apple Stores are receiving, leaving us with no indication on supply levels. If you plan on waiting for an iPad mini, it’s a good idea to go a few hours early.

Apple’s white iPad mini preorders sold out within minutes, and the black iPad mini sold out within days, so expect Apple’s in-store stock to sell out just as quickly. The fourth generation iPad online shipping times have also slipped to one week.

Are you going to wait in line for an iPad mini or a fourth generation iPad?
