Apple Special Event Streaming Live on Apple TV

Today’s special event will be streaming live online for all eyes to see starting at 10:00 a.m. PDT. Apple hasn’t offered live streaming video of a keynote address for a few years, so this is big for those of us who scramble online to find secret hidden camera blogs, or audio-only websites. What is even more amazing this time is that Apple is actually going to stream today’s special event live on Apple TV.

Sometime late last night, Apple secretly added another channel to Apple TV. The brightly colored logo is hard to miss and it is called, “Apple Events.”

Today’s event is the focus of the channel, with a summary that reads, “Tune in at 10:00 a.m. on October 23 to watch this event live.

In addition to today’s event, viewers can stream previous Apple events, like the iPhone 5 event that took place on Sept. 12 and the WWDC Keynote from March.

If you have Apple TV and updated software to v 5.0.2 or later, turn on your television starting at 10:00 a.m. to watch the whole special event live on your 1080p screen.
