Logitech’s New iPad Keyboard Features Cool Backlighting and Hand Sensors

Popular accessory maker Logitech is making strides in the keyboard market. This is the company that brought us the Solar Keyboard Folio, the Fold-Up Keyboard, and the redesigned Solar Wireless Keyboard for iOS. Today, Logitech has announce the launch of its newest gadget. The Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810 can be paired with up to three different devices, and it’s sleek black design looks remarkably like the new iPhone 5.

The K810 is significant for the Bluetooth keyboard market for its ability to pair with multiple devices. With just the press of a button, you can switch between your desktop computer, iPad and iPhone for fast and easy typing. You don’t need multiple keyboards anymore.

Another interesting feature of the K810 is the backlit keys, which are triggered by hand motion. The illumination automatically adjusts to the lighting environment allowing you to have brightly lit keys in dark rooms and dimly lit keys in lighter rooms.

If you walk away from your keyboard, the illumination will automatically power off to save energy. An internal motion sensor will detect your hands as you sit down to type and the keys will light back up as needed.

The sleek design of the K810 is one of Logitech’s best. With the newly released iPhone 5, we saw a different side of Apple, the backside to be specific. The newest iPhone, as well as the fifth-generation iPod touch, features brushed aluminum. Logitech took the idea and ran with it, creating a black brushed aluminum keyboard that will make your iPad jealous.

The Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810 will be available in time for the holiday season for $99.99. You can preorder it from the company’s website today.
