Harman Kardon Reinvents Classic Sound Sticks as iPad Ready Wireless Speakers

Back in 2001, Harman Kardon introduced the SoundSticks, a set of speakers that were designed to partner with early Apple products like the translucent iMac and Clamshell iBook.

The original SoundSticks won several awards and have gone through several updates, but Harman Kardon’s latest refresh has added Bluetooth, making the SoundSticks compatible with devices like the iPhone and the iPad.

The new SoundSticks Wireless incorporate Harman Kardon’s TrueStream wireless streaming to bring you high quality audio using Bluetooth. TrueStream can handle connections to eight Bluetooth-equipped devices, so you can listen in with all of your gadgets.

Harman Kardon’s SoundSticks still have the same great technology – a six-inch subwoofer, eight full-range drivers, touch controls, and 40 watts of amplification – but with the addition of Bluetooth, a fantastic classic product has become relevant once again.

Want a set of your own? You can get the Harmon Kardon SoundSticks Wireless Speaker system on the Harman Kardon website for $229.
