The Jawbone Jambox is one of the best portable iPad speakers on the market, with its sleek design, superior sound quality, and compact size.
One manufacturer, Cambridge SoundWorks, is aiming to follow in the Jambox’s footsteps and snag a few customers by one-upping Jawbone with an even smaller speaker that mimics the Jambox’s style.
The Oontz Angle has a triangular design and weighs just nine ounces, which is three ounces less than the Jambox.
It promises to deliver amazing sound quality and volume, outperforming Jawbone’s ultra popular speaker. The company has even one-upped Jambox in it’s promotional photos, which displays a hand holding the Oontz Angle in just two fingers.
The Oontz may be less than half the price of the Jambox, but is that price cut at the cost of quality? The Jambox is one slick looking speaker, after all.
Will the Oontz Angle deliver on its promises? The first units will be shipping out by the end of the week, and I don’t know about you, but I’m eager to find out. You can currently pre-order the Oontz Angle from the Cambridge SoundWorks website for $69.99.
