NFL Mobile App (Free) This is Verizon’s official NFL app for off-season events, NFL videos, headline news, blogs and more. You can also watch NFL Network programs 24 hours a day from your iPad, including coverage of the 2012 NFL Draft with dedicated 2012 Draft pages. Follow the progress of your favorite teams, post comments through Facebook and NFL.com, and watch games from your iPad. This is your one-stop shop for NFL news and information. Please note that this app is ONLY AVAILABLE for Verizon Wireless customers who subscribe to V-Cast and is NOT SUPPORTED on the new iPad. Most likely due to the overage of 4G LTE data consumption.

NFL ’12 (Free)This is the official app of the NFL. Watch all the games and stay on top of all of the action with this full-featured app. Get live scores and stats, latest news, and updates from NFL.com. Customize the app with your favorite team to see news, features and alerts specific to that team. Get alerts for individual games or the entire NFL season. Listen to live commentary as the plays happen with Audio Pass ($24.99) and watch NFL Fantasy Live and video highlights, as well as Thursday Night Football Live, right from your iPad for $9.99 for the entire season or $1.99 per week.

NFL Preseason Live (Free) Watch every game of the NFL Preseason live or on demand right on your iPad. Access condensed games, which are entire games sped up to last only 30 minutes, Big Play Markers, which are instant replays of the biggest moments of the game, scores from around the league, schedules, full box scores of stats for live and archived games, and full play-by-play analysis for both live and on-demand games. Some live preseason games are subject to blackouts if they are being broadcast locally. Users must have an NFL Preseason Live pass, which they can buy through an in-app purchase for $14.99.

Sunday Ticket (Free) Watch every game of the Sunday Ticket , live, where ever you are. With this DirectTV app, you’ll never miss an NFL Sunday Ticket game again, even if you are on a deserted island, unless there is no Internet access on that island. Watch games in HD, check out the biggest highlights of each game, see scores, stats and schedules for the current week’s completed and in-progress games. Track your favorite player’s performance with Instant Stats. Some games will be blacked out due to subscriber’s service address. You must be a DirectTv subscriber to get NFL Sunday Ticket. You can watch the entire Sunday Ticket season for $199.99, or order month-by-month for $39.99 per month.

CBS Sports for iPad (Free)Not only can get news and information on the NFL season through this app, but you can find out about NBA, NCAA, MLB, NHL, Golf, Tennis, NASCAR and more, right from your iPad. You’ll get up-to-the –minute news for the NFL season, as well as Game Trackers, live Scoreboards and stats. You can track multiple games from different sports. Personalize your app by following your favorite teams. Get news and information from CBSSports.com, RapidReports, and Fantasy Columns. Watch live video streaming of college football games and on-demand highlights, game previews, analysis, interviews, and more.
