Save Lives With A Single Line Drawing In Scribbles! Unlocked

Scribbles is a physics based game where you must help the creatures get to their container by drawing lines on paper. There are all kinds of obstacles to keep them from their destination, and you have a limited supply of ink. If you draw carefully, they will all be able to make it to their new home.

Players start off each level with a bottle of ink, an eraser, an “undo” button and a half-a-dozen little round creatures. The goal is to get the round guys from the top of the screen and into a container below. Sounds easy, but there are platforms that get in the way, moving parts that will crush the little roundies to dust, and other obstacles that make getting home difficult.

To get the round guys to the container, you will have to draw lines on the page. Sometimes, you will only need to draw a single, long line. Sometimes, you will need multiple short ones. Sometimes the inkbottle is half full. Sometimes there is only a couple of drops and you have to figure out how best to use what you’ve got.

Players can add more ink to the bottle if it seems necessary. The game comes with one free refill. You can buy additional ink for $0.99 as an in-app purchase, but it is really not necessary. Each level comes with enough ink if you know how to use it properly.

There are 90 levels across six different worlds. Each world has its own theme, including movies, science fiction, animals, and more. It is a decent price for how many levels you get.

What I liked: The sound track is straight out of Tin Pan Alley with ragtime piano songs. The animated obstacles are a nice touch, as well.

What I didn’t like: The game crashed on me twice upon opening. I was able to play just fine, but the glitch will cause some people to get irritable.

To buy or not to buy: If you like puzzle games and doodle art, this is the app for you.
