DancePad for Your iPad – It’s Finger Dancing… And It’s Fun! – iPad Game Review

DancePadIt can be very challenging to write a review for a game when there really are no words to describe it. DancePad is ridiculous. It’s hilarious. It’s also a lot of fun and completely addictive. The premise is easy: dance with your fingers. Using a series of dance moves that have you tapping and sliding your way across the screen, your fingers will get their groove on (and your toes, which I challenge you not to tap while you play this one)!

With a quick tutorial you are off to the dance floor and ready to conquer the 100 levels included in the app.

As you level up and learn new dance moves (listening to tunes from acts like Mayer, Hawthorne, Blaqstarr, Vintage Trouble, The Bangerz, Nabiha, The Whigs, Saint Motel, Shu-Sho and Sebastien Drums) the app lets you know when you’re smokin’ and when you’re simply meh.

There is no chance that this game will give you the sense of rhythm that you desperately lack, but the good thing is you can have fun with it from the comfort of your own couch where you don’t have to embarrass yourself in front of others!

What I liked: I think the best part of this game is that it is really different from others I have played. While some dance games let you control an on-screen person, this one is really just a silly way to follow the beat and enjoy the music.

What I didn’t like: The music clips are quite short, especially when I was really enjoying a song.  It would be nice if they played the entire song.

To buy or not to buy: Even if this game wasn’t free I would suggest you give it a try, but it is a steal for the price!
