Back in May, Rovio announced that it was working on a new game, after purchasing the rights to iOS game Casey’s Contraptions. The famous bird crazy company reworked that app, and is almost ready to release it as the renamed and rebranded Amazing Alex.
Amazing Alex stars Alex, a whiz kid with a fantastic imagination and a house that’s filled with fun toys, which can turn anything into an adventure. Like the game’s previous protagonist, Alex will build machines and contraptions to complete tasks like cleaning his room.
In Amazing Alex, players will be able set up intricate Rube Goldberg devices with objects that bounce, pop, ricochet, bash, and crash. With an array of objects available, there’s never just one answer to a problem.
In addition to playing through the game, players will also be able to create and share their own levels using 35 different interactive objects.
Amazing Alex is not quite ready for release, but it will be available for download in the App Store sometime in July. Make sure to check out the teaser video below.
