The newly updated NCR Silver app is mobile point of sale and cloud-based office solution designed to help small business owners run their businesses.
With NCR Silver, small business owners are able to take payments and manage their entire business with one app that operates on Apple’s iPads and iPhones.
NCR Silver has detailed analytics that let small business owners track both inventory and transactions in order to view profit margins and other important business information. Because it is cloud based, this information can be accessed from any computer with Internet access.
The app has templates and custom marketing capabilities so that business owners can create and launch digital marketing campaigns aimed at luring new customers and informing existing customers of sales, new inventory, and store events.
It can also be combined with a credit card reader, wireless receipt printer, and wireless cash drawer, to function as a traditional point of sale system. When connected to a card reader and installed on an iPad, the app can be taken anywhere in the store or to any remote location for instant sales. It’s perfect for farmers markets, street fairs, and small business locations.
The app itself, with all of its included software, is a free download in the App Store, but there is a $79 monthly fee. The subscription fee covers access to the POS software, back-office analytics, on-going alerts, digital marketing tools, live customer care, and reporting from any Internet connected device.
