Adobe Releases Update for Adobe Reader App
Adobe released a major update to its Adobe Reader app for iOS today, adding an all new eSignature feature which allows app users to sign, send, and manage important documents right on their mobile devices.
Adobe Reader, if you’re unfamiliar with the app, is a free, reliable way to view and interact with PDF documents on your iDevices.
The app provides users with a way to manage and share all of their PDF file types, and now the app also includes enhanced integration with Adobe’s EchoSign technology, which lets users sign documents by drawing a signature with a finger or a stylus and send documents to others for signatures.
This new update will also allow users to annotate and write comments on their PDF files, in addition to providing tools to fill out PDF-based forms and applications.
Adobe has also updated the desktop version of its PDF reading app, with the same Adobe EchoSign integration, allowing users to electronically sign documents without needing a handwritten signature and a scanner.
The Adobe Reader app for iOS can be downloaded from the App Store for free. For more information on the update, visit the Adobe Acrobat blog.
