Add personalization by having an initial embroidered right on the front. These cases are made-to-order so be prepared to wait up to two weeks before it is shipped to you. Custom made sleeves cost $55 plus $2.50 shipping and handling. Claraiuribe also makes sleeves for a variety of electronic gadgets.


HomemadeLeather makes a full-featured multi-functional organizer for the iPad. It is made from top grain leather and holds the iPad in place with fitted straps. This organizer’s dream costs $109 plus $7.50 shipping and handling and is handmade to order, so it may take time to ship. Homemade leather makes the multi-functional leather case in a variety of colors and offers a variety of different styles of iPad cases.

JanineKingDesigns makes sturdy closeable sleeves using pretreated upholstery fabric and industrial grade twill. The sleeve is padded with foam core from protection against bumps and scratches. It fits both the first and second-generation iPad with or without an Apple Smart Cover. It comes in a variety of fabrics, although the Hoot Owl is the cutest, and costs $39.99 plus $7.90 shipping and handling.
