Blue Microphones Unveils Three New Microphones at CES

Blue Microphones, a company that designs portable microphones (like the Yeti Pro) for podcasters and recording enthusiasts, is kicking off CES 2012 with the announcement of three new products: The Spark Digital, the Mikey Digital, and the Tiki microphone.

Known for high-quality products like the Yeti Pro, a favorite of podcasters, Blue Microphones’ new trio features the same great sound quality and design that you’ve come to expect.

The Spark Digital ($199) is a studio-grade condenser mic that comes equipped with both USB and iPad compatibility. It is designed for professional sound-recording quality for artists that will give a consistent performance in every situation – vocals, drums, piano, speech, and more. It is comparable to Blue Microphones’ studio models and focus control, an adjustable desk stand, built-in shockmount, and a headphone jack for zero-latency real-time monitoring. The Spark Digital will turn your iPad into a true mobile studio.

Blue’s Mikey Digital ($99) is a blue-and-play microphone that fits into the dock connector of your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch. It’s perfect for all of your mobile recording needs, with two custom-tuned capsules for stereo recording, three gain settings for recording everything from a concert to a whisper, and a carrying pouch so you can take it with you wherever you go.

The Tiki ($59) is the world’s first USB microphone that is designed to mimic the intelligence of human hearing by focusing on desired sounds while minimizing background sounds and predicting when to mute. It’s perfect for Skype users, podcasters, and musicians in any recording situation. The Intelligent Speech Mode will bring your voice to the forefront of a call or chat, and noise-canceling technology will minimize background noise. In Natural Recording Mode, you can capture a wide range of sounds from vocals to acoustic guitar, with high-fidelity recording.

Blue Microphones hasn’t set a release date for its three new releases, but it shouldn’t be long before these new offerings hit the market. For more information, visit the Blue Microphones website.
