Access, Edit and Share Your Google Docs with GoDocs – iPad App Review
There are a lot of you out there that know and love Google Docs and use it all the time. GoDocs for Google Docs™ on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch allows you to easily interact with your Google Docs library in a meaningful way.
When one of the biggest criticisms of iOS devices is the lack of a familiar file system for storing and accessing documents, services like Google Docs become very useful and important. And they make a lot of sense too, why not store your documents in a manner that makes them accessible anywhere and storage-space independent of your devices?
Google Docs is about more than just document storage. There are a million places you can store things, but this service lets you actually work with the documents (in nearly any common format). Open them, edit them, share them, track revisions, print them… just about anything you can think to do.
This app gets you Google Docs functionality on your iOS devices without needing to work through a cumbersome web browser. Whether you use it to just review your available documents and open them in alternative apps (on my iPad it recognized other popular document apps like PDF Connoisseur and Evernote as being options without any work on my part) or you use the app to actually edit/share/rename/delete/print your files, it is intuitive and packed with every little extra you can imagine appreciating.
Once you connect GoDocs to your Google Docs account (or multiple accounts if that applies to you), you can begin working immediately. If you want to work with your documents offline, just download them onto your device and that’s not a problem!
One of my favorite things is that this app is attractive! More than just a pretty face, it is also well laid out and easy to use but don’t discount the value of curb-appeal.

What I liked: For those of us using devices on multiple platforms, storing and working with documents in Google Docs makes good sense. Sure you could pull up Google Docs before but this app makes the experience so much more enjoyable.
What I didn’t like: I wish that this was an Apple app accessing an Apple service. That isn’t because I don’t like Google or begrudge their service, I just think this would make a really brilliant integrated app and feature-set.
To buy or not to buy: This app is elegant and stylish and works as advertised. This app is worth every penny of the price for those that can put it to use.
