Law & Order Fans Can Get Their Fix With New iPad Game

Law & Order, though its not on anymore, ran for 20 years. It’s one of those shows that you can find reruns of on TV at almost any time of the day, and now, thanks to Telltale Games, you can play the game on your iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.

The app, Law & Order Legacies, is an episodic game that brings together an all-star cast of your favorite investigators and prosecutors from multiple Law & Order franchises.

If you’re unfamiliar with Law & Order, it’s one of the longest running crime dramas in the United States, with storylines based on real-life crimes set against the backdrop of different law enforcement units.

Law & Order Legacies will include characters based on Lennie Briscoe (Jerry Orbach, Law & Order), Rey Curtis (Benjamin Bratt, Law & Order), Olivia Benson (Mariska Hartigay, Law & Order SVU) and Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston, Law & Order).

Fans of the Law & Order series will be able to experience what it’s like to be a detective or prosecutor, following dramatic twists and turns of criminal investigation. Gather evidence, question suspects as police offers, then prosecute the case and cross-examine witnesses in a courtroom game based on moral choices. Based on the choices made, different endings will occur – conviction, plea bargain, or not guilty.

The first season of Law & Order Legacies will include seven episodes that will be released one by one over the next few months. The app is currently available for download from the App Store for $2.99, and it includes the first episode. Additional episodes will be available for $2.99 within the app.
