City of Cupertino Pays Tribute to Apple’s Steve Jobs

The hometown of Apple paid tribute yesterday to Apple co-founder Steve Jobs who passed away earlier this month from pancreatic cancer.  According to the city’s blog, the city council meeting was adjourned in memory of Steve Jobs and city staff put together a short video in honor of the former Apple CEO.

Jobs recently visited the council to unveil Apple’s plans for a new headquarters building that would stand as an architectural focal point for the city. The council is currently reviewing those plans for approval.
