OtterBox Introduces Reflex Series iPad 2 Case

OtterBox, a mobile accessory manufacturer, is well known for creating ultra-protective disaster-proof iPad cases. Unfortunately, the company’s Defender series case is bulky because of its extreme protective capabilities.

The Reflex Series aims to fix that issue, combining OtterBox’s signature protection with an all new slim design that’s designed to be simple to install, use, and carry.

OtterBox’s Reflex iPad 2 case is created with pockets of air in each corner to create Reflex Zones, to provide superior drop protection without any added bulk. When dropped, the case is designed to spring back.

A lightweight two piece construction allows for easy installation and removal, and thanks to its new, smaller size, it’s the perfect addition to a purse or briefcase. Installation is just a matter of sliding the two pieces onto your iPad and then connecting them.

There is a removable shield to protect your iPad’s screen, and this shield also serves as a display stand for both landscape and portrait viewing modes, and a lower angle for typing. All of the ports, controls, and camera remain completely accessible in the Reflex Case, and it’s even designed with a special audio pathway to redirect sound.

The OtterBox Reflex iPad 2 Case is the best of both worlds, providing excellent protection without sacrificing size or style. To get the OtterBox Reflex iPad 2 Case, visit the OtterBox website. The case is currently available for $69.95.

I just think they are a bit too bulky, they ruin the delicate thin iPad 2 profile

If a little of bulkyness is needed to protect an iPad, then it is worth it.  I have friends who have dropped their iPad and they wished they had Otterbox protective case. I am a doctor in a busy practice and I need something that will protect my iPad and this product does a good job. Steven, there is no way that a protective case can be thinner so the “delicate” profile can be maintained.  This is called compromised .
