New iLuv Dock Turns Your iPad into a Desktop Computer

None of these docks are able to emulate a true desktop computer because of the low viewing angle, and if you don’t need ultra-portability, iLuv Creative Technology has a great new docking solution that recreates the total look and feel of a computer.
The iLuv iMM737 WorkStation is the first in a line of new WorkStation docks and cases designed to turn the iPad into a productivity solution perfect for both work and play, with an elevated, tilted screen and a full keyboard.
Many people have begun replacing their computers with more portable devices like the iPad, and even those who still access a computer tend to spend a lot of time on their tablets. The iPad was seen by many as an entertainment device, but usage has been shifting and it is also often used for business purposes like emailing and web browsing.
The iMM737 WorkStation has a laptop-sized wired keyboard with dedicated keys that perform specific Apple functions. Its larger size keyboard makes typing, emailing, chatting, and writing easy and fast.
A tilted and rotating bracket allows the iPad to be moved to several different angles in both landscape and portrait mode. An elevated base puts the iPad at a comfortable viewing height and jAura sound technology for maximum audio fidelity.
When not in use, the keyboard tucks away into the base of the WorkStation so it’s out of the way. The keyboard and the rotating iPad support stand turn this dock into a total mobile computing experience. The iLuv WorkStation series will range in price from $49.99 to $179.99. The iMM737 WorkStation Dock will be available on the iLuv website and at select retailers beginning in November, and other items in the series will begin shipping in September.
