Belkin Unveils New iPad 2 Smart Cover Compatible Accessories
Belkin is really starting to show that they are serious about the iPad 2. After the release of several kitchen gadgets designed to work with the iPad earlier this month, Belkin has announced the release of two new Smart Cover compatible accessories.
Both new cases are part of the highly successful Snap Shield lineup already offered by Belkin.
Snap Shield Secure (F8N669)
Designed to snap on the back of your iPad 2, the Snap Shield Secure pledges to offer streamlined protection without detracting from the actual sleek design of the tablet. In true Belkin fashion, they offer that ‘little bonus’ feature that sets them apart. An integrated steel bar will hold your Smart Cover in place while you have it open. This solves a problem brilliantly that I hadn’t realized was driving me crazy until just now –no more flapping Smart Cover to hold while you are using your device!
The Snap Shield Secure is very lightweight and appears to add no bulk at all while offering a little protection from scratches and light bumps.

While it may not have an intuitive name, this is one of the neatest accessories I have seen yet! Not unlike the other shields designed to protect the back of your iPad, this one is slim and sleek and shouldn’t add much bulk all while working in tandem with your existing Smart Cover. But unlike the others, this one is perforated and comes with an insert that matches your smart cover! You get the pop of color with a smooth and soft finish.
Each Emerge 024 case ships with 4 color inserts (blue, orange, green and pink) that coordinate to the corresponding Apple Smart cover. MSRP $39.99 USD
