Fight for Your Right to Giant Glowing Treasure in Jelly Wars – iPad Game Review
The game starts with a lot of back-story regarding a feud turned war on the planet Jelly in which the red and blue tribes are at war over a giant glowing treasure that either side feels should be claimed as their own.

This is a neat game. Resembling the considerable number of physics-based games out there, the whole idea is to lop your weapons (aka what looks like jelly pieces of yourself) across the playing field to achieve a successful attack on your enemy. It seems like it should be intuitive and fairly easy, but I can tell you first-hand that I hit myself with my own weapons for about the first 20 attempts I made. There is certainly a knack and it takes a bit to find it!
Getting lots of points from me for fun graphics and an entertaining soundtrack, this is the kind of game that your children will enjoy playing as much as you do. I really like finding games that the whole family can enjoy.
What I liked: I love playing against real human beings. It’s entirely more satisfying to know the person you just beat wasn’t just a computer.
What I didn’t like: While the game itself is quite good and a lot of fun, the menus are virtually impossible to intuit. I am glad I stuck with them, but I nearly gave up on even trying the game.
To buy or not to buy: This game is fun if you are the type with the patience to learn. It’s also a great example of multi-player integration, which adds to the enjoyment.
