Get a Monster Truck for Your iPad
Dexim, maker of accessories for various electronics, including the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch, has created a fun new addition that will surely be in your must have iPad accessory collection – a monster truck.
That’s right, Dexim has an iDevice compatible Monster Truck, which works with a free app you can download in the App Store, called DFSpeed.
With DFSpeed, you can wirelessly control the truck using your Apple Device, which works with a custom-built RF transmitter (included). The transmitter plugs into your iDevice to control the truck. Choose between two different sensors: a regular touch sensor or the gravity sensor. With the gravity sensor, you can control the truck by tilting your iDevice forward, backwards, right, and left.
An available multiplayer mode will let you race your vehicle with your friends, and three presets allow you to ZigZag, Spin, and Dance your truck to music. It’s perfect for use both indoors and outdoors.
This has to be one of the coolest iPad accessories I’ve seen yet. Sure, there are plenty of remote controlled cars out there, but one that I can control with my iPad? Awesome.
The AppSpeed Monster Truck can be purchased from the Dexim Website, and the companion app can be downloaded from the App Store. The truck retails for $69.90, and the app is free.
