I don’t know about you, but I’m always on the lookout for a great pair of headphones to use with my iPad and my iPhone. Unfortunately, headphones, like sunglasses top the list of items I lose most often, so I’m usually in need of a new set.
Audio-Technica, known for making high quality audio equipment, is set to launch several new sets of headphones from September 2nd to September 7th, at IFA 2011 (a trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances).
The audio company is adding mobile phone headsets, solid bass series, portable headphones, portable earphones, and Hi-Fi headphones, but we’re most excited about the headsets and headphones designed to be used with mobile devices.
The CKS55i, the CKS90i, and the WS55i are all specifically designed just for the iPad, iPod Touch, and the iPhone, with a dual chamber mechanism and extended bass response for an ultra rich bass sound that doesn’t compromise mid and high frequency audio.
Using the inline controller, users can select music tracks, videos, change the volume, record voice memos and answer calls. The CKS55i and the CKS90i are both in-ear headphones, and the WS55i is an over the ear headset.
In addition to being functional, these new offerings from Audio-Technica are fashionable as well, provided in sleek designs with clean lines and crisp black and white colors.
The new headphones and headsets will be at IFA from September 2nd to September 7th, and are currently available for purchase on the Audio Technica website. The CKS55i retails for £69.00 (black, white, red/black), the CKS90i retails for £139.00 (black only), and the WS55i (black only) retails for £89.00.
